Designed for high speed motion control applications of up to 70,000 rpm and has an extremely low vibration characteristic and minimized scale. MR318 Fiber Optic Encoder for MRI and NMR Applications! Micronor’s MR318 fiber optic rotary encoder is designed specifically for use as feedback in motion control systems operating in extreme electromagnetic fields. Positioning or velocity control — a wealth of opportunities. JVL, now represented in Ohio, USA, has now launched its latest innovative motion control product: “QuickStep”, the integrated step motor. The Pulse/Direction model of QuickStep was introduced some time ago with great success. This has now been supplemented with the introduction of a QuickStep model which provides a position controller, PLC facilities and a serial interface with optional encoder and CANopen interface. All electronics are integrated into the motor itself, providing a very compact and complete unit. This minimises cabling costs since machine sensors can be connected directly to the motor. Control cabinets can often be either totally redundant or significantly reduced in size.<br>
